Esteve is a Spanish pharmaceutical company and they were holding a conference in Scotland. Organised by IItineratis, this was no ordinary conference. Starting in Edinburgh where the conference was held in the Virgin Hotel, they went from there to lunch at The Cafe Royal, a visit to The Royal Yacht Britannia and onto whisky tasting at Glengoyne Distillery. It was then overnight at Cameron House Hotel. Next morning was a 4 x 4 adventure in the hills around Arrochar complete with picnic stops and then a speedboat trip on Loch Lomond. The final piece was a gala dinner in Cameron House Hotel.
The challenge for me was to keep pace with what was going on and always have the appropriate camera and lens for the occasion. One minute I was standing on a RIB going at full speed on Loch Lomond with a long lens with waterproof cover, the next was a close up of a delegate on the boat. Next was a lunch indoors where a speedlight on my Canon R6 was necessary. Preparation beforehand was the key.
