Hopetoun Estate in West Lothian were holding horse trials comprising of three events ,dressage, show jumping and cross country. I asked permission to photograph the event and was pleased to be able to get close to the action to practice the technique of photographing horses performing. It turned out to be not as difficult as I thought and coupled with being a pleasant day, I aim to attend more events. Another string to the bow!
