The SCDI hold a showcase event each year where local school children are presented with STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) challenges to solve in front prospective employers. At the end of it there is an awards ceremony and the winners receive a trophy and money which goes to their school to further science education projects.
My brief was to photograph the day's events and show the young people engaged in the various challenges. Also to capture the awards ceremony.
